The blasts, with the force of 6 kg in TNT equivalent, occurred in the early hours on Sunday near the Inchkhe station in Dagestan"s Karabudakhkent district near the capital Makhachkala, derailing the locomotive and eight carriages of a freight train. No one was hurt in the incident.
"The first results of the investigation into the terrorist act that occurred on the night of April 3-4 have showed that this explosion was the continuation of the terrorist attack by North Caucasus militants launched on March 29," the security officer said.
