Russian oil output increased 1.2% year-on-year...

Crude exports were also up, 3.3% year-on-year, totaling 246.044 million metric tons.

In 2008, Russia reported a 0.7% decrease in oil production to 488 million tons (3.59 billion barrels).

The Economic Development Ministry forecast domestic oil output at 493 million tons (3.62 billion barrels) in 2009-2012.

The ministry expects Russia to export 247 million metric tons of oil in 2010 and 2011, and 244 million metric tons in 2012.
