Rostov came from behind to beat Anzhi Makhachkala...

Rostov had the better of a goalless first half, forcing several saves from Anzhi goalkeeper Nukri Revishvili, but the game came alive three minutes after the break when an unmarked David Tsorayev scored from the edge of the area after a corner.

The visitors pulled level with a goal out of nothing on the hour mark. The Anzhi defense lost track of Roman Adamov in the penalty area and the forward gave the keeper no chance.

In the 85th-minute Timofei Kalachev scored the goal that would take the three points back to Rostov-on-Don, firing home after a neat link-up with Alexander Pavlenko.

Rostov coach Oleg Protasov professed himself well pleased with his side"s first away win.

"We reacted well to conceding the goal," he said. "The guys - the young men - they coped with the challenge."

Caretaker coach Arsen Akayev praised Rostov but felt Anzhi deserved at least a point, and lamented a missed chance at 1-0
